Back and forth, side to side, up and down. Whether it's in a pose, on a challenging day, and even on a great (too great?) week, what we all crave is balance. For our second issue, we'll explore what balance means for both teachers and our fellow yogis, on and off the mat.
In the meantime, we'll also be working on getting more blog posts to you! Our goal here at Yoke has always been to provide slow, meaningful content, with an emphasis on quality over quantity. Both of us--Jill and Vanessa--have been a bit overwhelmed with the summer and may have lost track of time, which explains the six month hiatus from posting anything at all. We promise to make up for that! That sense of being a bit overwhelmed, by the way, served as the inspiration for Issue 2. Equanimity and balance, more than ever, is what we need, especially as we hurtle into fall. Yeah. Already.
